The volumes of clippings are dated 1900-1908 and are arranged alphabetically by family name. Obviously the collection is incomplete as volume one covers Bon-Burc, volume two covers Burd-Cle and volume three covers Cli-Cro. Also include four incoming letters, two of which are related to Society of Mayflower descendants, a sheet of notes, and a booklet with the cover title Cook's Tourists Ticket in which can be found dried flowers from various locations, folded within a page of a travel diary, some Chinese calligraphy, and the travel diary. There is no indication the tourist ticket and diary belonged to Hill; they were simply found with his letters.
